A Mets fan's 8th Birthday!
In thinking of how to incorporate a fan's adoration of the Mets into his 8th birthday cookies, we came up with these jerseys! Personalized with an 8 as the number, and last name on the top, hopefully these made 20 2nd graders happy!
Winnie the Pooh Baby Shower
I have a new repeat customer who this time requested Winnie the Pooh cupcakes for a baby shower. I did dark chocolate cupcakes with vanilla bean buttercream, and made these cute little picks for the top!

They're goin' to the chapel....
and they're going to get married! For this order, I was asked to make some wedding themed cookies for the bride's shower this weekend, and I thought about champagne flutes and wedding cakes. The color scheme of the wedding and invitations is grey and yellow, so I went with that, and this is what I came up with!

Cute little dresses for a cute little girl....and some cakes to go with them!
My very good friend's niece is celebrating her 1st birthday, and together we decided on little dress cookies for her. The theme was light yellow and pink, so I created a couple different designs for this little princess!
I also made cannoli cupcakes for the guests, and two small anniversary cakes for them to celebrate! So, here we have cannoli cupcakes, a cannoli cake, and a half chocolate/half vanilla raspberry filled buttercream cake.

Is it a boy or is it a girl?
Had an order this past weekend for a baby shower, where the expectant mom doesn't know the gender of her baby...and although this annoys some people, this is how I roll, so I was happy to produce some gender neutral and some pink and blue onesie cookies!

Teacher Gifts
I needed something cute to give my daughter's teachers for the end of the year...and being a teacher myself, I'm not into junky little pieces of garbage that will eventually end up in the junk drawer, or thrown out. I decided on these cookie bouquets for them...the cookies are apples and crayons!

The FASTEST year of my life! Happy 1st Birthday!
This weekend is my little man's 1st birthday...and the theme was originally "Under the Sea" (as you can see from all the decorations), but the cookies took a different turn...I couldn't pass up these cupcakes with one candle on the top, the same ones I made for my daughter's first birthday FIVE years ago.

Graduation Cupcakes
I have a very important preschool graduation coming up (and before I had kids, I would have laughed at this statement....however, there is a certain 5 1/2 year old who hs convinced me this is the most important event in her life to date) and decided to make these graduation cap cupcakes to send into school to celebrate. Think about these for your next graduation celebration!
Thank you gifts
I needed something cute to give to three important people who have helped me get through this school year, so I thought of this idea after looking at a couple different projects. Using clay pots (which I like because they're almost timeless...you can use them forever, and they match just about every outdoor decor) I made some cookie pops and created a bouquet of flowers. With a little "thank you" on the front, I think these came out pretty cute, and the recipients thought so too! So, when thinking about what to give to show someone your gratitude, think about something edible! The easiest way to someone's heart is through their stomach :)
