I have a very important preschool graduation coming up (and before I had kids, I would have laughed at this statement....however, there is a certain 5 1/2 year old who hs convinced me this is the most important event in her life to date) and decided to make these graduation cap cupcakes to send into school to celebrate. Think about these for your next graduation celebration!

Thank you gifts
I needed something cute to give to three important people who have helped me get through this school year, so I thought of this idea after looking at a couple different projects. Using clay pots (which I like because they're almost timeless...you can use them forever, and they match just about every outdoor decor) I made some cookie pops and created a bouquet of flowers. With a little "thank you" on the front, I think these came out pretty cute, and the recipients thought so too! So, when thinking about what to give to show someone your gratitude, think about something edible! The easiest way to someone's heart is through their stomach :)

Happy Memorial Day! Apple Pie Cupcakes
Okay, so it's not really Apple Pie, but instead cupcakes with M&M's serving as "apples". Chocolate cupcakes, Vanilla Buttercream icing, with M&M's. Happy Memorial Day!
Sports Birthday!
Okay, so this picture is bringing it back old school...I made these three years ago for my daughter's BFF's 2nd birthday. These guys are getting ready to go off to Kindergarten in September, so this picture brings back memories! Footballs, baseballs and basketballs..and take into consideration that these were one of my first attempts at cookie favors!

Happy Father's Day! Sliders and fries
While my daughter and I were thinking about what to get for Father's Day (and after we were told "no gifts please") we came across these awesome cupcakes and cookies. The sliders are vanilla cupcakes, with a brownie "burger" and buttercream cheese, ketchup and lettuce. And, don't forget the sesame seeds for the top of the bun! The fries are sugar cookies dusted with sugar. The father in our house loved them!

End of the year teacher gifts!
One of my co-workers asked for some end-of-the-year gifts for her daughter's teachers, and we came across a picture of some homemade Oreos that I had made for my annual Christmas cookie party, and she was sold. So, my first real order was in, 100 homemade Oreos, wrapped up for 10 special teachers! All boxes fit 10 Oreos, and I made a few different versions....regular circle Oreos, circles with hearts (see picture of box), and heart Oreos.

Beach Ball Cupcakes
There was a "beach" day at school, so Madison decided she wanted beach ball cupcakes. My mistake was that I let her pick out the colors, I should have gone with the primary pink, yellow and blue, but....consider these pastel beach ball cupcakes :) Again, the camera stinks...I promise there will be better pictures coming soon!
Evan's Baptism
Evan was finally baptized this weekend, and it gave me an excuse to FINALLY take some pictures to show some of my goodies! Everything was done a Tiffany blue color, which was the color of his invitations...
The cupcakes were Devil's Food cake with Vanilla Bean Buttercream
Cookie favors were ovals personalized with Evan's initials, and a cross cookie
Sorry for the blurriness of the pictures....I am dire need of a new fancy camera!
